What is included in my monthly rent?

What are the meals like?

Meals are served in our comfortable dining room, which boasts a beautiful views. Friendly staff serve a choice of delicious chef prepared meals and delectable desserts to tempt every appetite. If you are not feeling well tray service to your room is available. Each month a scrumptious buffet is served to celebrate special occasions. Coffee, tea and fresh baked snacks are available on a self-serve basis in our coffee room. We also offer pub-style choices that allow residents to enjoy a night out with friends or family without leaving the building. And of course, friends and guests are always welcome to join you.

What is included in my private suite?

Each suite is equipped with its own air conditioner, heater, full kitchen, window coverings, fire protection system and 24hr emergency monitoring system. In addition, our suites were designed to support seniors by incorporating walk-in showers with a seat, lever handles, raised toilets, grab bars, over sized doorways and more.

Can I bring my pet?

Absolutely! If a small pet is part of your family it is welcome to move in with you.

What if I want to move in but I need to sell my house?

We want to help you move when you are ready and we know that may not coincide with the sale of your house. We offer a deferred rent program, which means you can move in rent free with no penalty.

What if I need more assistance?

We recognize that people’s need or circumstances change over time and we can help you explore several options, including those provided by our onsite staff. Golden Life’s team of professionals will work with you to identify your needs and develop a personalized plan of care. The following may be provided in the privacy of your own home: assistance with personal hygiene such as bathing, grooming and dressing, and medication monitoring.

What if I need help at night?

Feel safe and secure knowing that help is available when you need it, thanks to our fully staffed 24hr emergency monitoring system. With the push of a button, you’ll get immediate assistance any time of the day or night.

What if I don’t drive?

Our shuttle bus is available to take you shopping, attend appointments, or run errands. For those residents that drive, parking stalls are available for their personal use.

Can my friends and family stay with me?

We welcome and encourage family to visit. They can stay with you in your suite, or take advantage of our partnership with local hotels. Don’t forget to invite them for dinner, but of course after that they may never want to leave.
